A journey of 30 years
On the evening of April 29, Tra Vinh province solemnly commemorated the 30th anniversary of the province's re-establishment (May 5, 1992–May 5, 2022) with the participation of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, Member of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Politics, Head of the Central Economic Commission Tran Tuan Anh, and many other senior leaders and a large number of Tra Vinh province residents.
Looking back on a 30-year trip, the Tra Vinh provincial Party Committee, authorities, and ethnic minorities have always retained tradition, character, and patriotism, as well as the desire for self-reliance and self-reliance, and the ambition to rise. Le Van Han, Chairman of the Tra Vinh Provincial People's Committee, said that Tra Vinh has achieved significant progress in all areas since its re-establishment. The size of GRDP is growing; the average growth rate is more than 11.5 per cent per year, which is greater than the country's average growth rate.
GDP rose more than 86 times since 1992; agricultural production value climbed 38 times; industrial production value, handicrafts increased 190 times; trade services and tourism increased 45 times, and state budget revenue increased 126 times. Infrastructure, particularly transportation infrastructure, irrigation, power, water, schools, hospitals, and medical stations, has made significant improvements.
To date, 80/85 communes have reached new rural standards, and 6/9 of city and town districts and suburbs have completed the building of new rural regions. Many significant national investment projects in the province have been completed, first increasing efficiencies, such as the Duyen Hai Power Center; channels enabling big tonnage ships to reach the Hau River; and renewable energy projects like wind power, solar power, and so on.
Tra Vinh presently has an economic zone, three industrial parks, and four industrial clusters, as well as 385 investment projects, including 42 foreign enterprises, totalling more than 3.1 billion USD in registered capital. Political security, social order, and safety are maintained, and the political system is becoming increasingly strong. The relationship between the party, the government, and the people has been consolidated and strengthened despite being negatively impacted by the COVID-19 epidemic, significantly increasing the people's trust in the Communist Party, the state, and the people. system of government.

Listening to comments from Tra Vinh provincial officials, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue concluded that Tra Vinh was a place "under the crocodile river, on the bank of the tiger" many years ago. On behalf of the leaders of the Party and the State, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue congratulated the Party Committee, government, and people of ethnic groups in Tra Vinh province on their meaningful, great, and very proud achievements over generations; he also congratulated the province on receiving the First Class Labor Medal for outstanding achievements in implementing policies toward ethnic minorities in the province.

To realize the aim of becoming one of the Mekong Delta's important provinces for marine economic growth, a new rural province before 2025, and a developed province in the top group in the Mekong Delta area, The President of the National Assembly urged Tra Vinh to achieve well in six major areas by 2030.

To begin, continue to implement the Resolutions of the 13th National Party Congress and the 11th Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term; Resolution 13 of the Politburo on the direction of socio-economic development, ensuring national defence and security in the Mekong Delta until 2030, with a vision to 2045, striving to build Tra Vinh province as an important marine economic point and soon become a clean energy centre, especially the Resolutions of the 13th National Party Congress and the 11th Provincial Party Congress for the year2020.
Another thing to keep in mind is that the Agriculture, Farmers, and Rural Areas Strategy is a big project that needs a lot of help. So, keep working on mobilizing and using all the resources you can to get the job done.
The third thing to do is to keep speeding up administrative reform, improve the business investment environment, boost promotion, call for investment, and build regional and sub-regional connections to take advantage of the locality's strengths and abilities.
Fourth, closely integrate economic and socio-cultural development, promote Tra Vinh's land and people's cultural values, and create a harmonious and sustainable development. improve the quality of education and training, particularly the availability of high-quality human resources. Taking care of the preservation, care, and enhancement of people's health, particularly the material and spiritual well-being of all ethnic groups, requires.
Fifth, build a strong all-people national defence posture and a strong people's security posture together to improve the country's defence and security.
Sixth, concentrate on establishing and repairing the party as well as a clean and robust political system.
The Chairman of the National Assembly expressed his belief that Tra Vinh province's Party Committee, government, army, and people with great aspirations and determination, bravery and energy, who dare to think and dare to do for the benefit of all, will successfully realize the goals of rapid and sustainable development.
Tra Vinh will become a wealthy, beautiful, civilized province with people who are more affluent and happy, whose material and spiritual lives are continually improved, and who will join forces with the rest of the nation to effectively execute the Party Congress Resolution.
