The Vietnam-EU Trade Forum in 2022 will provide opportunities for Vietnamese firms

DNHN - This year's forum will focus on discussing and evaluating changes after two years of implementing the EVFTA Agreement, identifying favourable factors and challenges posed in the future, identifying risks and development problems generated for export of goods and commercial transactions, and warning risks and development problems generated for export of goods and commercial transactions.
To assist the two business communities in seizing new cooperation opportunities and more effectively utilizing the EVFTA, the Ministry of Industry and Trade collaborated with the European Union Delegation to Vietnam and the EuroCham Association to organize the Vietnam - EU Trade Forum in 2022.

The program is expected to be chaired by leaders of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, with participation from local leaders, the Ambassador - Head of the EU Delegation to Vietnam, diplomatic missions of EU member countries in Vietnam, EuroCham, the Vietnam Trade Office in European countries, experts, industry associations, and a large number of Vietnamese and European business communities in person and online.
This year's Forum, according to the Organizing Committee, will focus on discussing and evaluating changes after two years of implementing the EVFTA Agreement, identifying favourable factors and challenges posed in the coming time, warning risks and problems arising for the export of goods and commercial transactions, and recommending many practical and timely solutions for businesses.
The event also serves as a platform for exchanging information, forecasting growth scenarios, and exploring opportunities to expand cooperation in areas where Vietnam has needs and the EU has strengths, such as green economy, weekly economy, and so on. completion, energy transformation, and cooperation for sustainable development, in line with the current global development trend.
2022 is a year with numerous benefits for export activities and trade and investment promotion with EU partners, as both Vietnam and the EU are pushing post-pandemic recovery and aggressively resuming economic activities and trade, with the EVFTA Agreement playing an important supporting role.
