DNHN - On the morning of August 11, Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung said at a national conference between the Prime Minister and businesses with the theme "Proactive adaptation, quick recovery, and sustainable development," he said, "we need to save every smallest opportunity, dare to face to overcome the biggest challenges; proactively adapt, take advantage of opportunities, develop sustainably, bring new and greater values."

By the end of 2021, there will be around 854,000 firms functioning in manufacturing and business across the country, a 5.3% increase over the same period last year and a nearly 12.6% growth over 2019.
The number of businesses entering and exiting the market, as well as the amount of registered capital entering the economy, has expanded dramatically.
The number of newly established enterprises in the first 7 months of 2022 was 89,407, the highest level in the first 7 months of the year so far, up 17.9% over the same period in 2021; the number of enterprises entering and re-entering the market with over 130 thousand enterprises (133,708 enterprises, far exceeding 105,425 enterprises in the same period last year), an increase of 26.8% over the same period in 2021, an increase of 1.4 times the number of entrants withdrawing from the market;
The number of enterprises returning to operation was 44,301 enterprises, an increase of 49.7% over the same period in 2021; 94,575 enterprises withdrew from the market, up 18.7% over the same period in 2021.
On a larger scale, the total registered capital contributed to the economy in the first seven months of 2022 is VND 3,335,810 billion (up 37.2% over the same time in 2021). This is an amazing accomplishment as a consequence of the government's efforts to manage the pandemic and timely policies to encourage recovery and economic development.
According to Minister Dung, while production and commercial activities are presently rebounding, the global backdrop remains complex and unpredictable, with numerous possible dangers and difficulties ahead.
"As a result, we must save every little chance, courage to face and conquer the most difficult obstacles; proactively adapt, seize opportunities, grow sustainably, and bring new values to the forefront," Minister Dung stated.
According to Minister Nguyen Chi Dung, the Ministry of Planning and Investment has offered a variety of perspectives to encourage business development in the next years.
Maximum support for business growth; regard reducing business hurdles and challenges as a vital political objective for all levels of government, from national to local.
Sticking to the situation, executing policies and solutions proactively, flexibly, dramatically, seriously, promptly, effectively, and realistically to preserve macroeconomic stability, limit inflation, and achieve superb balances. At the same time, it will keep the recovery momentum going and encourage economic development. Create a stable and advantageous climate in which businesses may feel confident about investing in production and business.
Actively build policies and resources to deploy long-term solutions to assist businesses in proactively adapting to future fluctuations, promoting innovation, and anticipating business trends, and new market trends to grow, catch up and progress with the world.
