DNHN - The purpose of the Vietnamese Food and Goods Week in the United Kingdom is to promote to consumers and merchants in the United Kingdom high-quality Vietnamese goods that are making use of the UK-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (UKVFTA).
Longdan Supermarket in Crawley town, about 45 kilometres south of London, played host to the launch of the program for Vietnamese Food and Food Week in the United Kingdom in 2022 on June 26.
The event, which will take place from the 26th of June through the 3rd of July, is being organized by the Trade Office-Embassy of Vietnam in the UK in conjunction with the Vietnam Business Association in the UK (VBUK) as well as the two companies Longdan and EUTEK Group.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Vietnamese Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Nguyen Hoang Long, as well as leaders of Vietnamese and British enterprises, the local community, and a significant number of Vietnamese and British customers who now reside in the United Kingdom.
The program is designed to promote to consumers and retailers in the UK high-quality Vietnamese products that are currently benefiting from the Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam and the UK. This program is a key part of the trade promotion program that is run by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (UKVFTA).
Handicraft items, coffee, fresh fruit, dried fruit, canned fruit juice, vermicelli, dried noodle soup, rice paper rolls, cashew nuts, fragrant rice, and more from reputable Vietnamese exporters are displayed at Longdan Crawley Supermarket and the Vietnamese market in Nottingham city during Vietnam Food and Food Week in the United Kingdom.
The opening ceremony of the Vietnamese Food and Food Week program in the United Kingdom this year attracts a large number of local consumers. The ceremony coincides with the opening day of the Longdan Crawley supermarket, which is the 13th supermarket in the chain of Vietnamese and Asian supermarkets owned by Longdan Group.
