DNHN - On April 5, Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee held a workshop to approve the mid-term report of Quang Ngai Provincial Planning for the period of 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050. With many enthusiastic contributions from experts, the period It is expected to overcome the identified shortcomings and limitations, shape each development space to the fullest extent, to exploit the potential and advantages of each area.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dang Van Minh; Dr. Tran Ngoc Chinh, former Vice Minister of Construction, Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Urban Planning and Development and Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Dinh Thien, former Director of the Vietnam Institute of Economics chaired the workshop.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dang Van Minh stressed during the seminar that preparing for Quang Ngai province between 2021 and 2030, with a view to 2050, is critical; this is one of the province's essential political objectives in 2022. After the Prime Minister approves the provincial planning, it will serve as a critical tool for guiding and managing the province's socioeconomic development.
At the same time, this is also the basis for Quang Ngai province to develop comprehensively and sustainably in the future, in order to successfully fulfill the goals set out by the 20th Congress of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee during the period. 2020 – 2025 and the following years.
Quang Ngai plans to address recognized inadequacies and restrictions between 2021 and 2030, with a view to 2050, by shaping each development space to maximize the potential and advantages of each place.
Quang Ngai province has been extremely proactive in recent years, focused on organizing and implementing appropriate procedures for the development of provincial planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050.
Mr. Dang Van Minh candidly confessed in the period's first report: "In reality, the economy of Quang Ngai province still faces numerous constraints and has not fully realized its potential and capital advantages." However, given the province's potential and current advantages, it can be asserted that the province still has a lot of room for development, particularly in the areas of trade, services, tourism, real estate, and industrial park infrastructure exploitation. industry, high-tech industry, green industry, and digital transformation, etc."

Therefore, through this conference, Quang Ngai province is looking forward to receiving many enthusiastic and responsible opinions from experts, scientists inside and outside the province, opinions of leaders and managers. at all levels and branches in the province, opinions and experiences in organizing planning from leaders of the Department of Planning Management, Ministry of Planning and Investment.
After this workshop, Quang Ngai province can basically complete the provincial planning project to ensure science, quality, breakthrough and feasibility in implementation, it is expected to approve the final report in mid of May, 2022.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dang Van Minh said that the conference held this time is very important for Quang Ngai province to complete the views, goals, tasks and solutions for the comprehensive development of Quang Ngai province in 10 years coming and orienting for the next 30 years.
Quang Ngai province hopes that by organizing this planning, it will be able to overcome identified shortcomings and limitations, shape each development space to maximize the potential and advantages of each region, and develop a new vision to anticipate development trends in the context of deepening international economic integration today; and ensure the province's future development with a breakthrough and harmony between the three pillars of economy.
