DNHN - Pigeon City, an intriguing attraction located within the Trà Sư Melaleuca Forest tourist area in An Giang Province, captures the attention of both domestic and international visitors.

Situated right in the center between the Trà Sư restaurant and the management office in the tourist area, visitors can easily spot "Pigeon City" from afar with its quaint villas featuring classic French architecture, home to over 1,000 pigeons.

The idea to build this city originated from Mr. Lê Hoàng Vũ, Deputy General Director of An Giang Tourism Joint Stock Company, during a European tour. Inspired by the serene beauty of pigeons in Europe, he decided to bring a similar experience to visitors in the Trà Sư Melaleuca Forest. Initially, there were only about 200 pigeons, but after nearly 5 years of care, the number of "pigeon residents" has significantly increased, creating the largest pigeon population in the country.

Visitors here can not only admire the striking white pigeon nests against the blue sky but also have the opportunity to feed the pigeons. These birds, with their beautiful plumage and friendly demeanor, easily approach visitors, creating a peaceful and delightful scene.

The Trà Sư Melaleuca Forest tourist area is not only an attractive ecological destination with a diverse ecosystem but also an ideal spot for filming, wedding photography, and capturing beautiful memories. It is a significant highlight that contributes to the uniqueness of An Giang tourism, attracting thousands of visitors each year.
