DNHN - Nestlé MILO has launched the first online tournament for children, MILO Erun, taking place on April 2 and 3.
The virtual running tournament is the latest version of the annual MILO Erun Walking Day within the framework of the Active Vietnam programme launched by Nestlé MILO.
Since its inception in 2014, the Walking Day has been held across many localities in Vietnam, including Bac Giang, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Can Tho, inspiring more than 80,000 children to take up sports across the country.

Children can join the tournament from around their homes. The results are accumulated so they can conquer the challenge at any time around their place of residence. After registering on iRace.vn, parents can connect their Strava account with the iRace platform to easily record their children’s achievements.
Vu Tien, deputy editor-in-chief of Tien Phong Newspaper said, “Children have had little exposure to physical activities so many of them have become mentally sluggish and less energetic. Although many schools have returned to traditional teaching for the past month, they have yet to be active in organising extracurricular activities for students. Therefore, the MILO Erun online running tournament provides a safe and active playground for children, which is welcomed by many parents.”

Binu Jacob, managing director of Nestlé Vietnam said, “Understanding parents’ aspirations for their children’s well-rounded development, Nestlé MILO constantly deploys initiatives suitable for all contexts to keep children active anytime and anywhere. Regular exercise and playing sports not only help children stay active and relieve stress but also give them an opportunity to develop their willpower. We hope the children have a rewarding and healthy experience when joining this year's MILO Erun tournament."
Within the programme, 20 children will be randomly selected from among the contestants to receive a Green Energy gift set by Nestlé MILO including, a box of 115ml MILO, one MILO Astronaut backpack, one MILO crossbody bag, and a LEGO BricQ set.
To join the MILO Erun, parents can refer to nestlemilo.com.vn or register directly at irace.vn/races/milo-erun.
In line with building a healthy and active Vietnamese generation, Nestlé MILO has made efforts to contribute to the development of sports in the community.
On March 27, the brand has accompanied the Olympic Running Day for Public Health by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports with the participation of 30,000 people.
In December, Nestlé Vietnam signed an MoU with the Vietnam Student Sports Association under the Ministry of Education and Training on cooperation in school sports activities for 2022-2026, of which Nestlé MILO is the main sponsor.
