Continuing the nation’s tradition of “mutual love and support” and “helping those in need”, the provincial banking sector presented 241 Tet gifts to disadvantaged households and families of policy beneficiaries in Van Son Commune (Tan Lac) to ensure they have a full and warm Tet holiday. Each gift package included Tet gifts and 500,000 VND in cash.
The leader of the State Bank of Vietnam’s provincial branch stated that over the years, the capital of the Hoa Binh banking sector has contributed to the province’s poverty reduction and elimination efforts alongside other levels and sectors. Additionally, the State Bank of Vietnam’s provincial branch and local banks and credit institutions have effectively fulfilled their assigned tasks in assisting particularly disadvantaged communes as directed by the provincial People’s Committee. During the 2024 Tet holiday, the provincial banking sector will present 1,000 Tet gifts to disadvantaged households in the province. Furthermore, the sector plans to build and present 25 houses of gratitude to disadvantaged households in 2024, with a total value of 1 billion VND.
Van Son is a particularly disadvantaged commune in Tan Lac District, with 241 poor households and 80 families of policy beneficiaries. The Tet gifts presented directly to these households serve as a significant source of encouragement, enabling them to prepare for a warmer and more fulfilling traditional Tet holiday in this mountainous region.
