Hai Phong: Using "talking" figures to attract investment

DNHN - Hai Phong is an appealing site with tremendous potential and capital advantages, ranking sixth in the country in terms of investment promotion. With 872 foreign investment projects and total investment capital of 23.76 billion USD, Hai Phong's total FDI investment capital reached 1.1 billion USD in the first seven months of 2022. Too far, 444 FDI projects totalling about 22 billion USD have been attracted to industrial and economic zones.
Mr Le Trung Kien, Member, Head of Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board said: By 2025, Hai Phong will focus on developing and expanding 15 more industrial zones with a total area of 6,148 ha; the target must attract about 15 billion USD of FDI. Currently, Hai Phong focuses on completing administrative procedures for 6 new industrial zones with a total area of 2,758 ha, including Xuan Cau Industrial Park, Nam Trang Cat Industrial Park, Thuy Nguyen Industrial Park, Tien Thanh Industrial Park, and the expanded Trang Due Industrial Park. and Giang Bien 2 Industrial Park.
