Hai Phong: The 16th City People's Council unanimously passed 27 resolutions in its sixth session

DNHN - On the morning of July 20, the 6th session of the 16th City People's Council was presided over by Mr Pham Van Lap, Chairman of the City People's Council, who adopted draft resolutions and adjourned the session.
Mr Nguyen Van Tung, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the City People's Committee attended the meeting, as did Do Manh Hien, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Cao Xuan Lien, Chairman of the City's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, Hai Phong National Assembly deputies, City People's Council deputies, and leaders of the city's departments, boards, and branches of the city.

Delegates listened to the Secretary of the meeting report summarizing the Group discussion outcomes on the afternoon of July 19. As a result, the delegates of the City People's Council and the invited delegates debated the meeting's topics in five groups, as directed by the City People's Council's Standing Committee.
There were 54 instances when opinions, presentations, and debates were given in 5 groups. Most delegates agreed that the preparation for the People's Council's sixth session was rigorous and conscientious, with succinct, clear, and generally full reports and draft resolutions when needed. For the first time at the meeting, City Council delegates will vote on tablets to approve 27 draft resolutions for early implementation, thereby supplementing key solutions, quickly removing and promoting solutions, and pushing the city to complete and exceed socioeconomic targets, as well as continue to improve people's material and spiritual lives.

The City Council also passed the Resolution on the results of monitoring the execution of policies and regulations on land management in the city for the first time at this meeting, as well as the Resolution on questioning activities.
