Hai Duong cooperates to develop tourism with the Khabarovsk region (Russia)

DNHN - On August 15, the leaders of Hai Duong province had a working session with the Minister of Tourism of Khabarovsk region (Russia) and the delegation of the Institute of Economics - Culture on tourism cooperation and connection.

Mr Pham Xuan Thang, Secretary of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee, affirmed that the close relationship of Hai Duong province with Russia is most clearly demonstrated by the construction of the Pha Lai Thermal Power Plant (Chi Linh). In the context of international integration, Hai Duong wishes to cooperate with the Khabarovsk region to build the foundation for tourism development between the two localities.
Hai Duong is a locality with potential for tourism development, especially eco-tourism associated with the specialities of each region. With the diversity of topography and natural landscapes, the province is effectively exploiting its advantages and strengths to enhance the economic value of the tourism industry. The province is oriented toward developing tourism as a key economic sector, so it should focus on investing in tourist attractions. In particular, interested in smart tourism, and building diversified and high-quality tourism products.
In addition, Hai Duong also prioritizes exploiting its strengths in spiritual tourism, academics, and building a distinctive tourism image.
Mr Trieu The Hung, Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the efforts to connect tourism development between the two localities. This is an opportunity for the two sides to strengthen cooperation not only in the field of tourism but also to expand to other industries, thereby contributing to strengthening solidarity and friendship with international friends.
Ms Puntus Ekaterina Andeevna, Minister of Tourism of Khabarovsk region (Russia) was extremely impressed with the potential and advantages of Hai Duong's tourism development. She affirmed that the two localities can establish relationships on many fronts. Not only tourism but Hai Duong and the Khabarovsk region also have many similarities in agricultural development. This is the basis for the two sides to strengthen the connection and help and support each other for mutual development.
At the same time, Ms Puntus Ekaterina Andeevna invited leaders of Hai Duong province to the Khabarovsk region to attend a tourism forum held from September 22-24 to survey, learn and move towards forming a cooperative relationship. between two parties.
