Enterprises support Nghe An Study Promotion Fund with VND 2 billion to help students with difficult circumstances

DNHN - The Nghe An Study Promotion Fund has just received two billion Vietnamese Dong from businesses to assist disadvantaged students with their studies.
Mr. Vo Hong Minh, General Director of Duc Minh Hai Joint Stock Company in Ho Chi Minh City, spoke at the reception ceremony. Ho Chi Minh and Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh – a Representative of TH Group each contributed 1 billion Vietnamese Dong to the Nghe An Provincial Study Promotion Fund.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hien, Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Study Promotion Association, thanked the businesses that donated to the Nghe An Provincial Study Promotion Fund during the reception ceremony. These gifts demonstrate the deep affection and concern of the children, businesses, and entrepreneurs of the province for the cause of promoting education. Consequently bolstering the capacity of disadvantaged students with difficult circumstances to succeed academically. The Nghe An Study Promotion Association is committed to allocating this support reasonably and practically to students who are eligible for support and benefit.
In recent years, the province of Nghe An has achieved remarkable results in the areas of study promotion, talent promotion, and building a learning society, as is well known. With nearly 800,000 members, the organization system of the Study Promotion Association has expanded rapidly at all levels. The movement to build learning families and study families has brought "All people unite to build a cultural life, a new countryside, and a civilized city" to its full potential. Province-wide and grassroots advocacy for the development of the Study Promotion Fund is of interest. Nghe An mobilizes tens of billions of dong annually and awards hundreds of thousands of scholarships to support, encourage, and reward teachers, students, and students in the region.
To support the Provincial Study Promotion Fund, the Nghe An Provincial Study Promotion Association solicited and received nearly VND 4.6 billion from organizations, businesses, and individuals in 2022. In addition, the Provincial Study Promotion Association has coordinated with relevant agencies to award scholarships and prizes to students and teachers totaling more than 4 billion VND via programs such as: Giving gifts to students in a completely difficult situation on the occasion of launching "Study Promotion New Year, Study Promotion Month"; awarding relay scholarships to school; and awarding national and international excellent students, teachers fostering excellent education.
