Dong Thap plans to begin testing the Thanh Ngoc agricultural product processing facility by the end of this year

DNHN - Thanh Ngoc Agro-Food Processing Factory is a big-scale project that will handle a huge volume of fruits and vegetables in the Chau Thanh district once it is operational.

Mr Phan Van Thang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Mr Huynh Minh Tuan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and leaders of many provincial departments and branches, Chau Thanh District People's Committee visited and assessed the investment and construction situation of Thanh Ngoc agro-food processing factory on September 21.
Thanh Ngoc Agro-Food Processing Factory of Thanh Ngoc Agro-Food Products Limited Liability Company, under Vinh Hoan Joint Stock Company, will begin operations in January 2022 in Cai Tau Ha - An Nhon Industrial Complex, Chau Thanh district. The facility will be tested and operational by the end of this year.
The factory's construction and equipment installation will proceed according to the schedule. To prepare for the plant's operation, the corporation has actively engaged regions cultivating agricultural goods, particularly fruits, in Dong Thap province and nearby provinces.
From fresh ingredients such as dragon fruit, pineapple, mango, durian, soursop, seedless lemon, longan, Japanese soybeans, broccoli, mushrooms, cantaloupe, eggplant, beans corn, and corn..., the factory will process agricultural products to export standards using modern drying technology such as freeze-drying, freeze-drying, and freezing.
Currently, the Company is experimenting with a range of new agricultural goods to prepare for a high-tech agricultural project that the Company is proposing, such as a nursery, new variety testing, and cultural experiment.
Leaders of Thanh Ngoc Agro-Food Products Co., Ltd. also advised Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee leaders to expedite the process of leasing a 30-hectare plot of land in Chau Thanh district for the firm to investigate varieties and models tested to international standards.
Thanh Ngoc Agro-Food Processing Factory, when operational, will handle a huge number of fruits and vegetables in Chau Thanh district, especially in line with the province's focus on reorganizing Dong Thap's agricultural sector. As a result, Phan Van Thang, the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Deputy Secretary, advised that the local government continue to pay attention and create conditions for the plant to begin operations soon.
