DNHN - On the evening of June 2, two teams from Vietnam and Finland performed to inaugurate the Danang International Fireworks Festival. Opening the emotional contest of the home team Da Nang - Vietnam with the theme "Da Nang - The timbre of peace"
Mr. Le Trung Chinh, Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee, stated at the opening ceremony that this is a special festival because it had to wait three years to be able to enjoy the wonderful things together. Tonight, by the Han River, we will experience unforgettable moments.
The Danang International Fireworks Festival 2023 (DIFF) returns after a three-year absence caused by the Covid-19 epidemic. DIFF 2023 was presented with the theme "World without distance" to commemorate the resurgence of international tourism following the pandemic and the festival's location in Da Nang.
DIFF 2023 continues to attract tens of thousands of spectators, as noted by the reporter, even though tourism has not fully recovered and visitors to Da Nang are fewer than they were before the Covid-19 epidemic. The festival stands were filled with more than 5,000 people. The locations for viewing fireworks on both sides of the Han River attracted a large number of spectators.
Part 2 employs lively music and fireworks effects to describe the rise of the Da Nang people after the pandemic, as well as their achievement of world peace.
Part 3's "peaceful timbre" is the primary part of the theme, which combines modern, explosive music with large, brilliant fireworks. Consequently, the primary message for this year's holiday season is a wish for peace, stability, and happiness for everyone in the world.
The story of the Finnish team's competition is a journey back to "the new normal" following the COVID-19 pandemic. The Finnish team chose a performance that conveys intense emotions and love in the new normal, while the Vietnamese team chose the theme "Da Nang - Tone of Peace" to tell the story of peace and friendship.
DIFF 2023 was held from 2 June to 8 July, with 8 teams participating and the following schedule: Team Da Nang - Vietnam competed against the Finnish team on the opening night. The following matchups are Canada vs. France (10-6), Italy vs. Australia (17-6), and Poland vs. England (24-6). The championship match will be played on 8/7 in the evening.
Each team has a 20-minute performance based on the agreed-upon theme for each night, which includes Peace for Humanity, Love Without Borders, Conquering Dreams, Dance of Nature, and World Without Distance.
