DNHN - China has just agreed to reinstate customs clearance at the Coc Nam border gate (Vietnam) - Lung Nghiu (China) beginning September 26, 2022.

The People's Government of Bang Tuong town (China) has just sent a reply to the Management Board of Dong Dang - Lang Son border gate economic zone about agreeing to restore customs clearance of goods at Coc Nam (Vietnam) - Lung Nghiu (China) border gates beginning September 26, 2022, according to the Management Board of Dong Dang - Lang Son border gate economic zone.
According to the Chinese side, China has lately accelerated collaboration with key inspection agencies to conduct a test of the new version of China Customs' customs clearing system. As a result, to quickly boost the volume of customs clearance between the two sides, the Chinese side needs the Vietnamese side to do well in business propaganda and well arrange the source of products.
Following receipt of the response from Bang Tuong town, the Management Board of the Dong Dang - Lang Son border gate economic zone directed the Border Gate Management Center to notify the functional forces and businesses operating at the Coc Nam border gate to proactively prepare enough human resources, equipment, and facilities to ensure the work and coordinate in propagating for import and export enterprises to know, well perform the preparation work.
Customs clearance activities between the two sides have also lately been boosted. The total number of cars imported and exported through customs clearance in Lang Son province on September 24 was 829, of which: Total number of vehicles with export goods: was 233 (110 fruit trucks and 123 trucks); the total number of imported vehicles: was 596. (583 trucks, 13 new cars).
As of 20:00 on September 24, 2022, the total number of vehicles transporting export commodities left in the province was 155, consisting of 49 fruit trucks, 106 other goods trucks, and 48 automobiles less than the evening of September 23, 2022.
The Chinese side, particularly at the Coc Nam border crossing, is continuing to pilot the export approval of one car to Vietnam on September 24, 2022.
In Quang Ninh, after more than 7 months of closure, the Bac Phong Sinh border gate (Quang Ninh province) finally reopened on September 26. By 2 p.m. on September 26, there were 1 Chinese enterprise vehicle and 2 Vietnamese enterprise vehicles importing and exporting commodities via this border gate.
Due to the Chinese side carefully implementing measures to prevent and manage the Covid-19 pandemic, the pair of border gates Bac Phong Sinh (Hai Ha district, Quang Ninh province, Vietnam) - Ly Hoa (Dong Hung city, Guangxi province, China) had to cease operations on February 24, 2022.
