Binh Duong Celebrating the 77th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of Vietnam's Sports Industry

DNHN - On March 12 in the lobby of the Becamex Hotel in the new city (Hung Vuong Street, Hoa Phu Ward, Thu Dau Mot City, Binh Duong Province), the inauguration of the Olympic Running Day for the health of the entire population took place.
Mr. Nguyen Van Loc, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Department of Mass Mobilization, and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong Province; Ms. Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Bui Huu Toan, Standing Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee; and Mr. Nguyen Kh Representatives of leaders of departments, agencies, branches, and mass organizations; Provincial Sports Associations and Federations; departments, departments, and non-business units directly under the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism; representatives of leaders of the Culture and Information Department, Centers for Culture, Sports, and Information of districts, cities, and towns in the province; and representatives of the media attended the program.
The Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, in collaboration with the Binh Duong Running Club and associated units, will host the inauguration ceremony for the Olympic Running Day for the Health of the People and the Half Marathon of Binh Duong Province 2023.

To promote the Campaign "All people exercise their bodies following the great Uncle Ho's example"; to celebrate the 92nd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931-March 26, 2023), especially the 77th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Vietnam's Sports Industry (March 27, 1946-March 27, 2023); and to commemorate the 77th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Vietnam's Sports Industry (March 27, 1946-March 27, 2023).

Mr. Cao Van Chong, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, reviewed the 77th anniversary of the traditional day of Vietnam's Sports Industry and the event of the half tournament on behalf of the tournament's organizing committee. Binh Duong Provincial Marathon 2023, and hopes that through this event, people will pay more attention to their health, increase their physical strength, be inspired to participate in sports and exercise, and set an example for others. In the process of transforming Binh Duong into a smart, modern, civilized, and prosperous urban area, Great Uncle Ho actively contributed to the development of human resources and enhanced the spiritual and cultural life of the people.

Mr. Cheah Kuan Yean - Director of Becamex Hotel, on behalf of the sponsors, expressed his pleasure in supporting the Half Marathon Binh Duong 2023 and his desire to continue working with the Department of Culture in the future. Sports and Tourism should organize more large-scale and monumental events, thereby contributing to the development of a useful public park.
Immediately following the Opening Ceremony, the delegates and everyone else ran a 1 km race. Also in March, the Organizing Committee implemented sports activities for civil servants and employees of the Culture, Sports, and Tourism Sector, including football held on March 11-12, Men's and women's air volleyball, chess, sack jump, and tug of war held on March 17-18 at the Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center's gymnasium.

Alone in the Binh Duong Half Marathon, 1,692 runners who enjoy running competed in three distances: Half Marathon - 21 km for those 16 and older; distance 10 km for those 12 and older; distance 5 km for those 12 and older.
Due to the athletes' efforts and the Organizing Committee's meticulous planning, all athletes crossed the finish line without incident. Consequently, in the 21 km event, first place female Pham Thi Binh - Quang Ngai Runners, second place female Le Thi Kha Ly-T Coaching, and third place female Doan Thi Hien-Tajermy Runner, first place male Le Van Tuan - BDRC, second place male Le Huu Loc - Dong Nai, and third place male Nguyen Dang Khoi - BDRC.
10km distance: first for women Nguyen Thi My, runner-up among women Nguyen Thi Thuong placed third among women. Truong Hanh Nguyen ranked first among men. Truong Tri Tam - BDRC, runner-up among men Ly Nhan Tin - BDRC, male runner-up Nguyen Minh Duy - T Coaching.
First place female Thi Ha - BDRC; second place female Phan Mai Trinh - BDRC; third place female Nguyen Thi Anh Dao - BDRC; first place male Truong Nhat Linh; second place male Truong Hong Huu - BDRC; third place male Nguyen Anh Tu; 5 km distance.

For the overall success of this year's tournament, the award has received the care and coordination of members of the Organizing Committee and supporting units. Particularly, security, order, and medical work have been meticulously planned to ensure the absolute safety of the athletes during the tournament.

Through this meaningful activity, the tournament organizers have encouraged a large number of individuals to participate in sports on a regular basis, thereby contributing to the improvement of the community's health and enhancing the construction and conservation of the nation. Contributing to introducing and promoting the image of Binh Duong province, giving athletes the opportunity to experience tourism and learn about the history, culture, and people of Binh Duong while defending the nation.
