At the Vietnam Fair in Japan, Hai Duong promotes a variety of delicacies

DNHN - On July 17, Hai Duong province participated in the Vietnam Fair in Japan with a booth showcasing handicraft items and OCOP products from the province such as Banh dau xanh, Chu Dau ceramics, Tu Ky embroidered, Thanh Ha lychee, Long Hai jelly, Kiep Bac lotus tea... Kagoshima province, in collaboration with the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan, is organizing the Vietnam expo in 2022.
The Vietnamese Embassy in Japan was represented by Ambassador Vu Hong Nam, as was a group from Hai Duong province led by Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee-Trieu The Hung.
Vietnam Expo 2022 will take place concurrently at Cen Terrace Tenmonkan and AEON Mall Kagoshima. Mr Shiota Koichi, Governor of Kagoshima Prefecture, expressed his delight at the chance to enable people in the province to learn more about Vietnam and to pay greater attention to Vietnam. At the same time, it is a chance to promote Vietjet's ambition to link the direct Kagoshima-Hanoi route.

Mr Tran Van Quan, Vice Chairman of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee, gave a presentation at the expo on Hai Duong province and its unique products and items.
Tran Van Quan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, thinks and believes that Japanese investors and entrepreneurs would be interested in learning more about the enterprises and typical goods of Hai Duong province.
Specifically, the launch of VietJet's direct flight today creates an atmosphere for commerce, fostering investment, and economic cooperation between Hai Duong and Kagoshima, and between Vietnam and Japan in general.
On this occasion, Mr Trieu The Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee presented Governor Shiota with a commemorative gift of Thanh Ha lychee, a typical speciality of Hai Duong province, on behalf of the provincial leaders.

There are around 5,000 Vietnamese individuals living, learning, and working in Kagoshima Prefecture. Governor Shiota proudly stated that his Vietnamese friends are important human resources that contribute significantly to the regional economy as well as to local society, and have become an integral component of Kagoshima. The Governor hoped that the exchange connection between Kagoshima and Hai Duong provinces, in particular, and Vietnam in general, would continue to grow.
The Fair features many rich events in its activity chain, such as traditional Vietnamese dance performances, the Vietnamese national ao dai fashion show; the Vietnam picture exhibition; the experience of painting conical hats, booths selling Vietnamese items, and many more.
