DNHN - As of January 1, 2024, Da Nang International Terminal has become the first and only terminal in Vietnam to achieve a 5-star rating from Skytrax.

Da Nang International Terminal became the first and only place in Vietnam to receive a 5-star certification from Skytrax on January 1, 2024. The business-class lounge, baby strollers, kids' play area, mother and baby room, shopping carts, prayer room, self-service check-in kiosks, self-baggage drop desks, and automated immigration and departure gates are just a few of the many amenities that Skytrax strongly recommended.
Da Nang International Terminal rose from a 4-star to a 5-star rating in the brief period between March 2023 and December 2023, making it the only property from Vietnam on this list. This accomplishment is the consequence of unceasing efforts to raise the standard of staff, amenities, infrastructure, and services to improve the traveller experience.
Additionally, Da Nang Terminal prioritises the promotion of Vietnamese culture by incorporating traditional aspects and local scenes into the traveller experience. The terminal hopes to achieve this goal of offering guests a distinctive experience while adhering to global aviation industry standards.
This success is not only the result of the terminal's efforts; it also owes a debt of gratitude to the Central Airports Authority, the Department of Tourism, the Airport Border Police, the Airport Customs Branch, and the Aviation Security Centre for their timely support and guidance.
Even though the terminal has achieved the highest ranking on several global scales, a representative of the terminal noted that many things still need to be enhanced and improved. The terminal will continue to prioritise passengers in its 2024 strategic plan, seeing itself as a major attraction in Da Nang. Plans for investments will be put into action to give guests the greatest experience possible and to consistently satisfy international quality standards and evaluations.
Founded in 1989, Skytrax is a London-based aviation research company that has been assessing the goods, services, and customers of airlines, airline alliances, airports, and air transport providers. Only 19 airports and 3 airport terminals worldwide have received a 5-star rating from Skytrax as of 2023.
