Pham Thi Huan (also known as Ba Huan), born in 1954 in Chau Thanh district, Long An province, to a poor peasant family with many children, had to drop out of school very early to follow her mother. Carry eggs and earn money to support the family's finances. At that time, Ms. Huan traveled to the village's hamlets to purchase eggs from the villagers, which she then brought to the market to sell for profit.

She conducts business through Tien Giang, Dong Thap,... and then transports the goods to Ho Chi Minh City when customer demand increases. In 1985, she established her chicken egg farm in Cho Lon and the Ba Huan egg brand. The journey to validate the Vietnamese poultry egg brand

In 2001, Ba Huan Co., Ltd. was founded with a charter capital of 8 billion VND. Due to the high demand for eggs, poultry products and the Ba Huan poultry egg business have become well-known throughout the nation. In addition, egg products from Ba Huan are exported to Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia.

The H5N1 bird flu pandemic of 2001 nearly wiped out her family's fortunes, which had been on an upward trajectory. Incapable of accepting this tragedy, Ms. Ba Huan sold her home and took out a loan to purchase equipment from Moba Group (Netherlands) for handling poultry eggs. She decided to invest in an automated technology line capable of processing 65,000 eggs per hour and 99.9% clean eggs by international standards. Due to increased demand, the company purchased a second egg processing machine in 2009 with a capacity of 120,000 eggs per hour.

Despite being impacted by fluctuations in the domestic economy, the company still maintained 120% of annual revenue, tax payment, and other payments at a rate of 160% compared to its registration date.

In 2009, the company's revenue reached 148 billion dongs, and its profit was 391 million dongs. By 2018, the company's revenue had reached 1,245 billion dongs, and its profit had reached 20.02 billion dongs.

As the COVID-19 epidemic raged in 2021, the Ba Huan company and businesses were once again impacted by storms. However, the Vietnamese "egg tycoon" continues to steer the business ship and overcomes this turbulent period gradually.

Ba Huan company has 12 affiliated units; 4 factories producing eggs, food, and animal feed at both ends of the country; 3 livestock farms, 6 distribution stores; the company's products are available in 3,000 large and small supermarkets across the country. When operating at full capacity, egg production can reach 2 million eggs per day, ensuring domestic and global demand.

Ms. Pham Thi Huan is not only a successful businesswoman, but also a leader in social activities. She received the Second Class Labour Medal (2010), the Certificate of Merit from the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City (2016, 2018), the Ho Chi Minh City badge (2011), and several other accolades.
