Hoàng Hải Anh and his young peers launch MR. Burgers – a Halal dining destination in Hanoi

DNHN - At the age of 18, Hoàng Hải Anh (Haris) and his friends have introduced MR. Burgers, bringing the clean Halal food experience to visitors in Hanoi.

Starting a business is never an easy path, especially for those just entering adulthood. Yet for Hoàng Hải Anh (known as Haris, born in 2007) and his peers, the aspiration to deliver clean, transparent, and safe food became the driving force behind building a Halal food chain.

According to the founders, Halal is developed under a closed-loop model, covering ingredient selection, processing, and distribution. The goal is to provide consumers with products that have clear origins, meet food safety standards, and remain reasonably priced. “We want every customer’s meal to be not only delicious but also reassuring in terms of quality,” said Haris.

A highlight of their entrepreneurial journey is the creation of the MR. Burgers brand – The Best Burgers in Vietnam – located at 10 Hàng Cót, Hanoi. MR. Burgers operates under Halal standards, adhering to the religious requirements of Muslims. This is not only a novelty for young local diners but also an opportunity to reach international visitors, particularly Muslim tourists who are coming to Hanoi in increasing numbers.

As Vietnam grows into an attractive destination for international travelers, the emergence of a food chain that is clean, safe, and aligned with international standards like MR. Burgers will enrich Hanoi’s culinary scene and make the city more welcoming. MR. Burgers aspires to become a familiar stop for foreigners seeking to explore Vietnamese cuisine in a modern, youthful setting while ensuring transparency and safety.

Beyond targeting urban customers, MR. Burgers also aims to connect farmers and cooperatives, creating stable outlets for Vietnamese agricultural produce. This reflects the group’s belief that entrepreneurship is not just about business profit but also about contributing to the community and supporting sustainable agriculture.

“We hope that when tourists come to Hanoi and stop at MR. Burgers, they will not only enjoy a delicious meal but also experience the friendliness, openness, and creativity of Vietnam’s younger generation,” said a representative of the founding team.
