The 30-Year journey of Đại Dũng Group in developing a sustainable value chain
Đại Dũng Group has always identified a specific direction in its sustainable development strategy: not only growing in scale and strength in governance but also aiming to build a strong, environmentally friendly ecosystem that consistently meets all responsibilities-related requirements.
With a vision and mission to "help Vietnam reach the global stage," Đại Dũng’s brand has been recognized for 30 years as a pioneer, specializing in providing general contractor services and being a leading domestic and regional supplier of professional steel structures. At the same time, the group is also a supplier of carbon emission-reducing fuel, with sustainable, renewable products that extend the project lifecycle.
Currently, all machinery and production facilities use solar power (with 40% relying on clean energy - solar power), and the group is progressing towards using wind power while upgrading systems to minimize national energy consumption. Water and waste management processes are strictly regulated to ensure environmental safety and prevent negative impacts on the community’s living environment.
With clearly defined criteria for each activity, Đại Dũng Group has been and will continue to be a leading brand in the industry, serving as a foundation for the choice of financial investors and business partners both domestically and internationally. On the platform that Đại Dũng has built through a series of architectural projects, tunnels, thermal power plants, and as a general contractor for stadiums, airports, museums, and more—not only domestically but globally across 50 countries and territories—the group’s mission and substantial role have been firmly established.
Currently, Đại Dũng Group's steel structures and mechanical products are divided into 9 main categories: renewable energy projects; architectural works; high-rise buildings; heavy industry and energy; transportation projects; steel structures for power transmission; mechanical manufacturing; factories; and construction steel processing and commercial services.
In addition, the group continues to expand into new product lines, especially super-large and super-heavy structures for the renewable energy sector, infrastructure development, and seaport expansion, all aimed at enhancing the value of the supply chain. The group also emphasizes building a strong corporate governance system, applying modern science and digital transformation to create a multi-sector ecosystem that integrates mechanical engineering and steel structures with value-added sustainable fields.
Đại Dũng Group’s brand-building journey always aims for comprehensive development
Alongside sustainable development, Đại Dũng Group is always focused on overall growth. Special attention is paid to human resource training, building a skilled workforce that meets international standards, including engineers, architects, and technical specialists. The business environment places high value on maintaining a standard corporate culture and focuses on employees' health care, housing, and living conditions, with particular priority given to female employees.
For many years, Đại Dũng Group has been a sponsor and donor to orphanages, providing care for 500 to 700 orphaned children until they come of age. The group also builds charity bridges, homes for disadvantaged communities, provides medical equipment and medicines to hospitals, and offers scholarships, vocational training, and career guidance to students. In the future, the company’s leadership aims for an annual goal of planting trees to green barren land and hills, contributing to the national green ecosystem strategy and sustainable development.

With what Đại Dũng Group has accomplished and is doing, it is currently and will continue to inherit and further advance the criteria of a social enterprise to new heights in a new era for the nation. During the recent 30th anniversary, Mr. Trịnh Tiến Dũng, Chairman and CEO of Đại Dũng Group, reiterated the group's commitment to a new phase with more breakthrough and creative goals, demonstrating its position and capabilities through concrete figures. The group aims to maintain an impressive growth rate of over 25% annually from 2025 to 2030, and more than 15% from 2030 to 2045, with a goal of reaching over 1 billion USD in revenue before 2030.
Alongside strengthening international cooperation and attracting strategic investment, Đại Dũng Group will focus on investing heavily in technology to meet the most stringent global market standards, expanding its export market share to potential regions such as the Americas, Europe, and Australia. The goal is to become a national brand and a leading symbol of Vietnam in the mechanical engineering, construction, and steel structure sectors.
On the current market, the name Đại Dũng is the benchmark for evaluating sustainability and corporate responsibility towards the environment and society. This is also the group’s overarching goal of sustainable development, contributing to enhancing the global presence of Vietnamese enterprises.
