DNHN - The Isuzu mu-X 2022 was officially released in Vietnam in four variants. The Isuzu mu-X features a new look for the new generation, the 1.9 diesel engine stays unaltered, and the ADAS safety package has been added.
Isuzu mu-X 2022 was recently officially launched in the Vietnam market with four versions, including B7 1.9 MT 4x2, B7 Plus 1.9 AT 4x2, Prestige 1.9 AT 4x2, and Premium 1.9 AT 4x4, with prices ranging from 900 million dongs to 980 million dongs to 1.12 billion dongs to 1.19 billion dongs, a difference of several tens of millions of dong from the expected price offered by the agent earlier. However, the Isuzu mu-X 2022 remains the most affordable mid-size SUV on the Vietnamese market.
Isuzu has replaced it with the mu-X 2022, which has a different external design, after more than 6 years on the market. The new Isuzu mu-X is distinct from its predecessor in terms of refinement and design strength.

The front light cluster is smaller and incorporates LED technology. LED taillights are likewise smaller in size. The big grille retains the classic Isuzu styling. The high-end variant has smoke-grey tones.
The car features a strong chassis construction, which increases bearing capacity by 23% over the previous model. The suspension has also been improved to make it more secure, stable, and pleasant.
The MT variant has dimensions of 4,850 x 1,870 x 1,870 (mm), whereas the other three versions have a height of 1,875 mm owing to a 5 mm greater ground clearance. The wheelbase is 2,855mm long. The new mu-X is considerably bigger than the previous generation, with a 25 mm length and 10 mm breadth increase. The tank's wheelbase is 10 mm. The MT variant has 230 mm of ground clearance, while the other three models have 235 mm.
The new mu-headlights X's are LED lenses. The two most expensive variants have automated on/off and phase/cos adjustment. The regular model has 17-inch wheels, while the other models have 18-inch wheels.
The inside is increasingly coming up to its competitors in terms of technology. The dashboard has a 9-inch centre entertainment screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. A 4.2-inch multi-information display is located in the instrument cluster. New steering wheel with three spokes. Handbrake control is electronic. To suit Vietnamese sensibilities, the inside is upholstered in cowhide leather, with an 8-way motorized driver seat adjustment. The vehicle boasts a 2-zone automatic air conditioning system, as well as individual air vents installed on the roof for the two back seats. Armrests and two kinds of charging connectors are available in the second row of comfort.

Intelligent automatic throttle, speed limiter, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, blind spot warning, unintended acceleration, tire pressure warning, 8 front and rear sensors, automatic headlights, and 6 airbags are among the outstanding safety features.
A smart key with remote start is a useful feature on the mu-X 2022. ABS, electronic brake force distribution, electronic balancing, horizontal/descending departure assistance, electronic handbrake, and a reverse camera are all standard automotive safety systems.
The Isuzu mu-X 2022 is powered by the same 1.9 turbocharged diesel engine as its predecessor, but it now meets Euro5 emissions regulations. The engine generates 150 hp at 3,600 rpm and 350 Nm of torque at 1,800-2,600 rpm using a 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox. Except for the top-tier 2-wheel drive 4WD model, the remainder is rear-wheel drive.

With several of the aforementioned improvements, the Isuzu mu-X 2022 is likely to sell well. Even though the pricing starts at 799 million VND, this is the slowest selling model in the sector of mid-size SUVs with detachable chassis. The vehicle will compete with the future Ford Everest, Toyota Fortuner, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, and Nissan Terra 2022, as well as two Korean vehicles, the Hyundai Santa Fe and Kia Sorento. The Isuzu mu-X 2022 was offered in Vietnam and was imported CBU from Thailand.
