Vinh Son - Song Hinh hydropower plant is about to spend VND 709 billion on dividends

DNHN - Currently, more than 236 million shares of the Vinh Son - Song Hinh Hydropower Plant are outstanding. It is estimated that the company will need to spend approximately VND 709 billion to pay dividends to shareholders in 2022 at a rate of 30%.
The Vinh Son - Song Hinh Hydropower Joint Stock Company (VSH/HoSE) has announced the closing of the shareholder list for the 30% cash dividend in 2022 (1 share will receive 3,000 VND). The date of ex-dividend is May 22. There are three payment installments. The first payment is due on 12/06 at 5%; the second payment is due on 31/07 at 10%; and the final payment is due on 29/09 at 15%.

VSH has more than 236 million outstanding shares at present. At a rate of 30%, it is estimated that VSH will need to spend approximately 709 billion VND to pay dividends to shareholders in 2022.
In 2022, VSH earned a net profit of nearly 1,265 billion Vietnamese Dong, which was more than three times that of the previous year. In 2023, the company expects revenue from the two power plants Vinh Son - Song Hinh and Thuong Kon Tum to reach VND 2,457.45 billion, with a profit before taxes of VND 953.71 billion, significantly less than the 1,264.8 billion dongs generated in 2022.
In 2023, the company intends to complete a feasibility study and an environmental impact assessment for the Vinh Son Hydropower Project Extension, Song Hinh Hydropower Plant to expand and raise the water level to normal lake B - Hydroelectricity. Vinh Son.
