DNHN - The Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (VINASME) has allocated 1.5 billion VND to Dien Bien province's "Million Hearts of Love, thousand happy roofs" program.

The "Million Hearts of Love, Thousands of Happy Roofs" theme of the ceremony to support building great solidarity houses for poor households in Dien Bien province aims to build homes for poor households and families facing many challenges. in Dien Bien province.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Vice President and General Secretary of the Central Vietnam Fatherland Front, stated at the ceremony that Dien Bien has the third-highest proportion of poor households in the nation. As of 31 March 2023, 7,447 poor and near-poor policy households were residing in homes that required repair or replacement.
The program "Million Hearts of Love, thousand happy roofs" aims to repair and build 7,000-8,000 houses by May 2024, of which more than 5,000 will be for low-income families. Dien Bien province's policy family. The level of support is 50 million VND per unit or 350-400 billion VND in total.
Before September 2023, the donation period will be transferred through the account of the Central Fund for the Poor, the Dien Bien Province Fund for the Poor, or directly to the people. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee will coordinate the mobilization of all resources and assign the Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Bien province responsibility for funding management, allocation, and implementation, as well as supervision of implementation.

State President Vo Van Thuong assessed that the program's goal of constructing 7,000-8,000 houses per year demonstrates a strong commitment to removing temporary and dilapidated housing, providing people with safe and stable housing, and expanding their opportunities to escape poverty sustainably. Ethnic people in the Dien Bien province highlands still lack access to clean water, medical care, and schools. This is a work of beauty, humanity, kindness, and assistance. Practical assistance is both a responsibility and a practical expression of gratitude to the land where the people sacrificed their lives for the fatherland.
"The contribution to date exceeds 5,000 homes, which is a very encouraging number. I appeal to domestic and international businesses, agencies, organizations, collectives, individuals, public servants, and other individuals. Let's work together to complete this program by contributing to the Vietnam Fatherland Front. How to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu's victory (April 2024) is a patriotic duty," urged State President Vo Van Thuong.
Representatives of central agencies, ministries, branches, provinces, and cities presented billions of dong for the "Million Hearts of Love, Thousand Happy Roofs" program at the ceremony. Dr. To Hoai Nam, a representative of the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, donated 1.5 billion VND to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
