DNHN - To protect the ultimate safety of passengers and flights, the Central Airport Authority has formally declared the shutdown of airports affected by the storm.

According to the National Hydro-Meteorological Center, the central area will see heavy to very heavy rain and high wind gusts beginning at midday on September 27 owing to the effects of Typhoon Noru. Bamboo Airways revised its intention to fly several flights with destinations/departures at Central airports on September 27, 2022, to ensure passenger safety.
Faced with this challenging weather pattern and the closure of airports in the Central region, Vietnam Airlines and Bamboo Airways have rescheduled several flights with destinations/departures in the impacted areas.
Vietnam Airlines announced intentions to change the operation schedule of flights to and from storm-affected airports beginning September 27, 2022. Flights by Vietnam Airlines to and from Chu Lai, Pleiku, Hue, and Da Nang will be stopped from the morning of September 27 until the afternoon of September 28 owing to the airport's temporary shutdown. Vietnam Airlines flights to and from Tuy Hoa, Vinh, Dong Hoi, Quy Nhon, Buon Me Thuot, and Da Lat airports may be affected.
Other flights will be impacted as well as the change in operating schedule. Passengers on Typhoon Noru-affected flights will be assisted by Vietnam Airlines in compliance with rules and will be shifted free of charge to alternative aircraft on the same route if necessary (if there are seats available).
Flights to and from the central airport, including those of Vietnam Airlines, will be temporarily stopped during the storm's effect. There are additional flights to and from Vinh (Nghe An), Dong Hoi (Quang Binh), Tuy Hoa (Phu Yen), Lien Khuong (Da Lat, Lam Dong), and Buon Ma Thuot (Dak Lak). The exploitation time is predicted to be modified due to the effect of storms. The chain has an impact on certain other flights. Passengers on impacted flights are provided with assistance by the airline's service policy.
Bamboo Airways cancelled the following 24 flights:

Bamboo Airways has also revised its plan to operate 25 flights, as follows:

Airlines will keep an eye on the weather and provide an update in the next bulletin. Passengers wishing to fly during this period should keep an eye on the weather and airline information. Changes resulting from inclement weather will be announced by airlines on their fan page, website, or by texting the phone number or email address that consumers enter when reserving tickets.
Passengers must pay attention to information regarding the storm's impact on airport routes and modes of transportation to plan ahead of time and arrive at the airport on time.
