DNHN - The ICE International Exhibition Centre hosted the 4th International Exhibition on Supporting Industries and Manufacturing Processing of Vietnam, Vimexpo 2023, which commenced on November 15 in the morning.
As part of the supporting industry development programme, the Vimexpo exhibition is a manifestation of the government's Resolution No. 115/NQ-CP, enacted on August 6, 2020, which seeks to establish a conducive atmosphere for industry-operating businesses. Supporting manufacturing and industries involves the introduction of new products, the exchange of technologies, the pursuit of joint ventures and partnerships, and the attraction of investment.

The exhibition, which has been organised three times with the objective of "connecting for development," has garnered considerable support and interest from both domestic and international companies. Vimexpo 2023 encompasses an area of 7,000 square metres and features over 200 companies and nearly 300 booths. Companies from countries and territories, including major corporations such as Thaco, Toyota Vietnam, TCT Veam, and Samsung Vietnam, as well as those from Germany, Japan, Korea, China, and Taiwan.
During the exhibition's inauguration, Ms Phan Thi Thang, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, expressed her belief that the exhibition would serve as an "ideal meeting point" for businesses as the government and business community collaborate to foster economic recovery under the "connecting for development" framework. As a result, opportunities will be created to form and develop domestic value chains by promoting business connections and linkages between Vietnamese enterprises and multinational and industrial corporations, as well as domestic and foreign manufacturing and assembly firms, and by attracting effective investment.

Mr Watanabe Shige, Deputy Ambassador at the Embassy of Japan, underscored the following: "As global supply chains transform, Vietnam's manufacturing and processing sector will continue to advance and emerge as a critical link." critical to the functioning of the supply chain is the expansion of supporting industries.
Businesses and the Japanese government are collaborating closely to promote the growth of this industry. Anticipating numerous intriguing exhibitions and displays at Vimexpo 2023, which ushers in a new era in the manufacturing sector, I am filled with anticipation.
Vimexpo 2023 is scheduled to be open to the public from November 15 to 17, and approximately 15,000 attendees are anticipated.
