Specifically, the revenue of certain municipalities in the first four months of 2023 compared to the same period the previous year is as follows: Ho Chi Minh City increased by 84.5 percent; Binh Thuan increased by 75.2 percent; Khanh Hoa increased by 70 percent; Quang Ninh increased by 28.6 percent; Can Tho increased by 15.4 percent; and Lam Dong increased by 11 percent.
Passenger transport increased by 6.9% and passenger turnover increased by 5.7% month-over-month, while freight transport increased by 2.7% and freight turnover increased by 3.7% in April.

Tourism is a multidisciplinary economic sector, and even though transport is only one component; when transport costs are high, resulting in fewer tourists, it still affects the other links, including lodging, food, and sightseeing. This fact necessitates swift regulation to ensure the tourism industry's sustainable growth.
Mr. Gabor Fluit, President of EuroCham, commented on the tourism and travel industry in the BCI quarter of 1Q02, stating, "The forthcoming reforms to work permit and tourist visa procedures are likely to have a direct impact on growth." We are eager to learn more about these proposed modifications."
