The Surface event will take place on October 12th

DNHN - The October Surface event has been officially scheduled at 9 p.m. on October 12th. Unlike previous years, Microsoft is anticipated to perform several things to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Surface during this year's event.

According to Neowin, Microsoft will, as usual, live stream this event on its website. Only a colourful remake of the Windows 11 wallpaper with the handwritten "Save the date" lettering is available on this website.

Surface Pro 9, Surface Laptop 5, Surface Studio 3, Project Volterra, and lastly Surface Earbuds 2 are among the items slated to hit shelves during the event.

Furthermore, titles such as Surface Laptop Studio 2, Surface Go 4, Surface Duo 3, Surface Neo, Surface Laptop SE 2, Surface Laptop Go 3, and Surface Headphone 3 are included in the product category that will be absent from the event.

According to speculations, Microsoft will unveil the 9th generation Surface Pro with Intel and ARM CPUs, as well as the 5th generation Surface Laptop, an updated version of the Surface Studio, and new accessories during this year's event. Microsoft is also rumoured to be working on a gaming-focused Surface Laptop featuring 12th Gen Intel CPUs and Nvidia 3000 Series graphics cards.

Although Microsoft is attempting to keep all specifics under wraps until the event, recent rumours indicate that the Surface Laptop 5 will forego AMD processors in favour of 12th-generation Intel CPUs.
