The Province of Hai Duong and its Korean partners have signed a partnership agreement for the Urban Growth Partnership

DNHN - Recently, President Vo Van Thuong and President Yoon Suk Yeol witnessed the Urban Growth Partnership Programme Memorandum of Understanding between the Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee and Korea Real Estate Corporation.

Mr Trieu The Hung, Chairman of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Korea Real Estate Corporation regarding cooperation on the Urban Growth Partnership Programme. Presidents Vo Van Thuong and Yoon Suk Yeol witnessed the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the two countries.
According to the signed minutes, the two parties will hold seminars and discussions to exchange information and ideas regarding issues, urban development trends, and the legal frameworks of the two nations and Hai Duong province. Research and identify projects leading knowledge-sharing and information exchange activities related to urban issues in Hai Duong province (UGPP) to identify smart new urban projects, industrial areas, and other urban development-related projects in Hai Duong. When implementing leading UGPP projects, efforts are made to create a favourable investment climate for Korean businesses.
Specifically, the Hai Duong side will coordinate with Korea Real Estate Corporation (LH) to organise joint seminars to share knowledge and exchange information about urban issues in the province of Hai Duong; introduce to LH the location for implementing UGPP leading projects for smart new urban or industrial zones, and provide the required data and information.
LH will collaborate with the Provincial People's Committee of Hai Duong to organise seminars to share knowledge and exchange information on urban issues in Korea. LH may introduce Government- or privately-owned Korean companies to the People's Committee of Hai Duong province so that the participating companies may propose investment projects (for projects not subject to bidding or auction). or participate in the bidding and auction of leading UGPP projects (for projects subject to bidding or auction) by Vietnamese law.
LH will assist the Provincial People's Committee of Hai Duong in identifying leading UGPP projects.
