The French petroleum giant has set new low pricing

"In recent months, growing fuel costs have driven up gasoline prices, placing pressure on French consumers, particularly those with little financial resources," TotalEnergies warned. "With this summer offer, TotalEnergies is once again committing to French clients, which is projected to reach 17 million people."

According to Reuters, top French energy providers have also urged consumers and businesses to cut down on use in reaction to the possibility of Russia restricting gas supply to Europe.

CEOs of Engie, EDF, and TotalEnergies, customers must limit their use to prepare for an impending energy crisis. Due to supply interruptions, Europe faces catastrophic gas shortages this winter. The EU imports over 40% of its gas usage via Russian pipelines.
