DNHN - In the new stamp set, one of the waterfall pictures is of the May waterfall in Thanh Hoa. This is to show off the country and people of Vietnam.
The Vietnam Post Corporation and the Ministry of Information and Communications just put out a set of stamps called "Vietnam Waterfall" to improve the image of the country and its people. One of the waterfalls chosen for this release's new stamp set is May Waterfall (Thanh Hoa).

The four stamps in the set are worth 4,000 VND, 4,000 VND, 4,000 VND, and 12,000 VND. The artist Nguyen Duc Lan made the stamp, which is 43 mm by 32 mm. It shows pictures of waterfalls in Vietnam, such as Dai Yem Waterfall (Son La), May Waterfall (Thanh Hoa), Pongour Waterfall (Lam Dong), and Suoi Tranh Waterfall (Kien Giang).
The address of Thac May is on Lang Su stream in Thach Lam commune, Thach Thanh district, Thanh Hoa province. This area is also in the buffer zone of Cuc Phuong National Park. In the area where the mountains and forests of the northern Truong Son mountain range meet the mountains and forests of this area, a beautiful waterfall called May Waterfall appeared. The name of the waterfall comes from its magical beauty. The waterfall is about 100 m long, and the water flows in layers, layers, and white like clouds in the sky all year round. May Waterfall is also called the love waterfall with nine levels.

This place is a natural masterpiece because it has cool green water all year long and nine cascades that connect to make one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Thanh Hoa. There is a father waterfall, a mother waterfall, and a child waterfall right here. On both sides of the waterfall are big, old trees that always provide shade.
With its wild, poetic beauty and rich, diverse, and green ecosystem, this place is the best place to go. Thousands of people come here to escape the heat and cool off during the summer. At the same time, there are interesting things to learn about the Muong culture and way of life in Thanh.
People know that Vietnam Post designed the first four release date stamps to match the four waterfalls in the stamp set. This was done to make the stamps more interesting for customers and stamp collectors.
The "Vietnam Waterfall" stamp set will be available from August 15, 2022, to June 30, 2024, through the postal system.
