Thanh Hoa: Over 900 enterprises have reopened

DNHN - Thanh Hoa had nearly 2,300 newly established enterprises in the first 7 months of 2022, a 31.4% increase over the same period, ranking 6th in the country in terms of newly established enterprises; 948 enterprises registered to return to operation, a 35.2% increase; and the number of enterprises registered to suspend operations decreased by 7.6%.
Over the last 7 months, enterprise output and commercial operations have remained constant, and Thanh Hoa province's socioeconomic position has achieved numerous significant successes.
In particular, the growth rate of gross domestic product (GRDP) in the first six months is estimated at 13.41%, ranking third in the country, and for the entire year is estimated at 11.56% (according to the General Statistics Office's preliminary estimate), ranking fifth among provinces and cities with the highest growth rates in the country.
Revenue from the state budget was estimated at over VND 31,000 billion in the first seven months of the year, equaling 111% of the estimate and increasing by 61% over the same period in 2021; revenue from the business sector is estimated at nearly VND 6,700 billion, equaling 95.6% of the estimate and increasing by 49% over the same period in 2021.

The Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee said that over the past few years, the province has issued many guidelines, mechanisms, and policies, as well as proposed many practical and effective solutions, which have made it easier for businesses to grow in the province. These include: developing projects and putting out policies to support business growth from 2022 to 2026; policies on industrial and handicraft development; policies on supporting domestic and supporting enterprises to transport goods by container through Nghi Son port…; opening up and stimulating tourism demand.
