DNHN - These personnel dismissal and hiring decisions reflect a change in the management level at Thaiholdings in order to optimise professional work.
Mr. Vu Ngoc Dinh was also born in 1980 and has served as the General Director of Thaiholdings since April 2021. He will return to the role of Deputy General Director in July 2021. In addition to his role at Thaiholdings, Mr. Dinh is the General Director of the Sea 129 Quang Nam - Da Nang project, managing and directing its construction. He also serves on the boards of Kim Lien Tourism Joint Stock Company, Enclave Phu Quoc Joint Stock Company, and Thaigroup Group Joint Stock Company.
As of December 31, 2022, these two employees hold 539,000 THD shares, which represents 0.15 percent of Thaiholdings' charter capital.
In addition, at the 2023 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, the Board of Directors of Thaiholdings decided to dismiss three out of five members of the Board of Directors, namely Mr. Nguyen Van Thuyet, Mr. Mr. Nguyen Chi Kien, Mr. Phan Minh Hung, and Ms. Vu Thanh Hue were simultaneously appointed to this position for the period of 2019 to 2024. Mr. Nguyen Chi Kien was subsequently elected chairman of the board of directors.
Notably, the Board of Directors of Thaiholdings approved Mr. Nguyen Van Dung's dismissal from the position of General Director, effective January 1, in accordance with Mr. Dung's personal wishes. Mr. Phan Manh Hung has been appointed as Mr. Dung's replacement in this position.
These dismissal and appointment decisions reflect a change in the management level of Thaiholdings in order to optimise professional work and enhance the performance of Thaigroup's projects and businesses.
