Six months of the year 2022, Hai An Transportation and Unloading has fulfilled 79 per cent of the 2022 profit plan

DNHN - The Hai An Transport and Handling Joint Stock Company have reported a total income of 1,615 billion VND over the first six months of the year, which is equivalent to 68 per cent of the revenue goal for the whole year. Once it reached VND 437 billion, the profit after tax accounted for 79 per cent of the annual target.
The Board of Directors of Hai An Transport and Handling Joint Stock Company (HoSE: HAH) met on June 27 and approved the company's expected business results for the first six months of 2022, which included a total production of 480,124 Teu and reached roughly 51 per cent of the entire year's goal.
The total income comes in at 1,615 billion VND, which is 68 per cent of the objective for the whole year. When it reached VND 437 billion, the profit after tax accounted for 79 per cent of the annual target.

Regarding the business strategy for 2022, HAH anticipates that the overall fishing capacity will be 948,000 TEU, comprised of 411,000 TEU for port operations, 395,000 TEU for vessel operations, and 142,000 TEU for depot production. The total revenue and consolidated profit after tax are projected to reach about VND 2,388 billion and VND 550 billion, respectively, representing increases of 19 per cent and 23 per cent over the prior year.
Meanwhile, the firm chose to modernize the port yard, drainage system, and other ancillary works at Hai An. Phase 1 (in 2022) is anticipated to cost 99 billion VND, while phase 2 (in 2023) is estimated to cost 66 billion VND.
HAH is now the industry leader in terms of container fleet size. As of June 2022, HAH's fleet consisted of ten vessels with a combined tonnage of over 170,000 DWT and a total capacity of 14,200 TEUs. Domestic (Hai Phong - Da Nang - Cai Mep - Ho Chi Minh City) and intra-Asia (Hai Phong - Da Nang - Cai Mep - Ho Chi Minh City) and intra-Asia (Hai Phong - Da Nang - Cai Mep - Ho Chi Minh City (Hai Phong - Hong Kong - Nam Sa).
