Schaeffler Vietnam wins Best Company to Work for in Asia Award

DNHN - Schaeffler Vietnam has been named among the Best Companies to Work in Asia 2021 by HR Asia, Asia’s most leading publication for HR professionals.

Covering a total of 13 markets across the region, the award recognises companies which boast high levels of employee engagement and an unrelenting commitment to creating an excellent workplace culture despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
In Vietnam a total of 115 award winners have been selected from a pool of 581 shortlisted nominees from various industries that meet the requirements set by the HR Asia Award.
This selection has been based on HR Asia’s Total Engagement Assessment Model (TEAM), a proprietary employee engagement survey which seeks criteria such as a work environment, employee engagement, leadership, and teamwork.
Commenting on the award, Nguyen Xuan Thang, country manager at Schaeffler Vietnam, said that it is an honour for Schaeffler Vietnam to be recognised as the “Best place to work in Asia”.
“This award has perfectly reflected our efforts in creating a working environment that empowers our employees in enabling our organisation’s success. I am proud to be part of a leading global family company, and I strongly believe in sustaining our position as a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility with best-in-class performance for the automotive and industrial sectors,” said the executive.
As a leading global supplier to the automotive and industrial sectors, Schaeffler Group has been driving forward groundbreaking inventions and developments in the fields of motion and mobility over the past 70 years. The technology company manufactures high-precision components and systems for drivetrain and chassis applications, as well as rolling and plain bearing solutions for a large number of industrial applications.
The group that employs around 83,000 worldwide generated sales of approximately EUR13.9 billion in 2021. With more than 1,900 patent applications in 2020, Schaeffler is Germany’s second most innovative company, according to the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA).
