Mr. Choi Joo Ho, General Director of Samsung Vietnam, stated as much at the November 15 Opening Ceremony of the 4th International Exhibition on Vietnam Manufacturing and Supporting Industries – VIMEXPO 2023.
As per the General Director of Samsung Vietnam, the programme aimed at providing expert training in moulds, a critical sector of the domestic industry, is likewise proceeding without incident. Samsung will also begin supporting the consulting programme on constructing smart factories for the development of high-tech, high-value-added industries in 2022.
About Samsung's forthcoming strategies, this business executive stated, "By Samsung Vietnam's co-prosperity business philosophy, Samsung will further enhance collaboration with pertinent Vietnamese governmental bodies and agencies shortly, while concurrently undertaking endeavours to foster the growth of Vietnam's supporting sectors."
Specifically, Mr. Choi underscored the importance of prospects for Vietnamese enterprises: "We shall establish circumstances and give precedence to opportunities for trained and competitive Vietnamese enterprises to engage in the supply network." " Methodically create." Mr. Choi stated, "We hope that the Vietnamese government will give these businesses its consideration and policy support."
Thus far, Samsung has made numerous beneficial contributions to the supporting industry in Vietnam. The number of Vietnamese enterprises comprising tier 1 and tier 2 suppliers in Samsung's global supply chain increased by a factor of ten as a result of supplier business identification initiatives; from 25 in 2014 to 257 by the end of 2022.
Samsung is the leading investor in Vietnam at present, having nearly tripled its total investment capital in the past fifteen years; by the end of 2022, it will have increased to approximately 20 billion USD.
The VIMEXPO exhibition is a component of the Supporting Industry Development Programme, an occasion that puts into practice Government Resolution No. 115/NQ-CP to establish a conducive setting for enterprises engaged in supporting industry operations.
