DNHN - After the COVID-19 epidemic was brought under control, Phu Tho town's (Phu Tho province's) socioeconomic activities gradually recovered, and labor export flourished.
In 2022, Ha Thach commune has the most inhabitants with 48, followed by Van Lung commune with 33, and Ha Loc commune with 21. To send more workers to export with stable job positions and high incomes, the primary policy of local authorities has been to increase propaganda and create favorable conditions for businesses to send Vietnamese people to work abroad under contracts to be able to come and recruit workers.
The movement of labor export in the Hoang Phu Thinh region's Ha Thach commune became more exciting roughly ten years ago. The zone currently employs 85 individuals in the following markets: Taiwan (China), Japan, and Korea. Numerous families with children and grandchildren migrate abroad for employment.
Mr. Nguyen Trong Quyet (1985-born) resides in the Hoang Phu Thinh region of the Ha Thach commune. He previously worked as a miner in Uong Bi (Quang Ninh). The work was difficult and the pay was less than anticipated, so in 2014, he decided to temporarily relocate to Taiwan to work. After four years of arduous labor, he returned home in 2018 with sufficient funds to build a spacious home and purchase transportation services, establishing a stable family life.
Mr. Le Van Quyet, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Thach Commune, stated, "In 2022, labor export activities in the region have improved somewhat. To ensure that workers go abroad to work by the procedures, the Commune People's Committee has authenticated their documents by the law, so as not to interfere with their entry and exit.
In 2022, Phu Tho has 159 labor export workers (exceeding 125% of the annual target), of whom 78 go to Taiwan (China) and 74 go to Japan... Almost half of all workers are female. The People's Committee of the town has instructed specialized departments and units to actively propagate and disseminate the Party's guidelines and resolutions, as well as the State's legal policies for contract workers abroad.
It is well known that the majority of township laborers who work abroad are rural workers, recent graduates from vocational education institutions without jobs, or those with unstable employment. The demobilization team, etc., must be suitable for foreign jobs that do not require a high level of education, such as construction, manufacturing leather shoes, and garments, domestic help, caring for the sick or elderly, disability, agricultural production, electronics, etc.
Ms. Luu Thi Thuy Nga, Deputy Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Phu Tho town, stated: "In 2023, the town intends to send 130 more workers to Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and other markets." In addition to promoting propaganda, Party committees and authorities at all levels must also have strong leadership and direction for labor export work, thereby creating opportunities for businesses and agencies. By the aspirations of the people, departments of vocational education and training and businesses that send employees abroad to work should recruit and hire students to meet labor market demands.
