DNHN - This year's National Day holiday on September 2 lasted four days, and Hanoi organized numerous activities and tourism products that attracted a large number of people and tourists.
During the four-day National Day holiday from September 1 to September 4, 2022, the Hanoi Department of Tourism estimates that 640 thousand tourists will visit the city, a 51 percent increase over the same period in 2021.
The number of international tourists is projected to increase by 83.9% to 41.7 thousand, while the number of domestic tourists is projected to increase by 49%, to 598.3 thousand. The tourism industry is anticipated to generate more than 2 billion VND in revenue, an increase of 54 percent compared to the same period in 2022.

This year's National Day holiday on September 2 lasted four days, and Hanoi organized numerous activities and tourism products that attracted a large number of people and tourists. Numerous tourists have participated in tours of Hanoi's historical sites and suburban locales.
Hanoi welcomed more than 574 thousand tourists during the first three days of the holiday (from September 1 to September 3), including more than 31,000 international visitors and 543,000 domestic visitors. The estimated total revenue from tourists during this period exceeds 1.76 billion Vietnamese Dong.

As part of the holiday activities, the Hanoi Department of Tourism has arranged free double-decker bus transportation for tourists visiting the capital. This is to create opportunities for visitors to enjoy the panoramic view of the Capital from above and visit scenic spots.
This year's National Day holiday is four days long, resulting in a substantial rise in demand for rest and tourism. The estimated average hotel occupancy rate is 59.5%, a 21% increase over the same period in 2022. Hotels and other accommodation areas have reported high room occupancy, with 4-5 star hotels, old town areas, homestays, and suburban resorts reporting the highest rates.
