DNHN - Recently, the Vietnam International Trade, Investment and Tourism Promotion Centre (VITIT) and the Korea - Vietnam Economic Support Committee (KVECC) collaborated to organise the programme "Vietnam - Korea Trade Promotion".

Co-organizing the event were the Vietnam International Trade, Investment, and Tourism Promotion Centre (VITIT) and the Korea-Vietnam Economic Support Committee (KVECC).

Mr Pham Hubei, Director of ViTit Centre, shared at the event that after 31 years of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Korea (1992-2022), bilateral trade turnover has reached a high level. of USD 87.7 billion, and Vietnam has become Korea's third-largest trading partner. Which approximately 8,800 Korean companies have set up shops in Vietnam and are contributing to the commerce, ecology, economy, and industry sectors. In addition, the two nations must lay the groundwork for medium- and long-term trade and investment by expanding trade in luxury consumer goods and services. In light of this, ViTit Centre is honoured to receive an invitation to collaborate with the Korea-Vietnam Economic Support Committee on the organisation of this programme. We also cordially invite 30 Vietnamese enterprises from the fields of technology, products, trade, tourism, import and export, logistics services, and labour export to participate in this programme.
It is known that in 2022, the Vitit Centre and the KVECC Committee collaborated to successfully organise the Trade Promotion Programme, assisting Korean companies in introducing fertilisers to the Vietnamese market and exporting Vietnamese goods to Korea.
"Visit Centre has successfully concluded more than twenty cooperation agreements with Korea. "We are the link between Vietnamese and Korean businesses," Mr. Bac explained.
At the event, a large number of Vietnamese business representatives wished to find Korean business partners with whom they could import and export a wide range of goods.
Ms Hoang Thi Hue, the director of MQG Trading and Service Co., Ltd - a Thai Nguyen-based company specialising in wood pellets and plywood - stated that the company always has access to high-quality goods at competitive prices. Through the bridge, ViTit will hopefully find a partner to introduce the product to the Korean market.
Similarly, Mr Vu Xuan Truong - Director of Truong An Trading Production Co., Ltd. wants to find a Korean business partner to export animal feed ingredients, while also seeking guidance on importing by-products. automobile components.
"We are involved in the distribution of motorcycle tyres. Now that I'm attending this event, I'm looking to import Korean-brand auto parts, such as tyres and other car accessories, said Truong.
In addition, many businesses in other industries, such as logistics services, labour export, cosmetics, etc., seek Korean business partners.
Kwon Jae-having, Chairman of the Korea Multicultural Foundation and Chairman of the Korea-Vietnam Economic Commission stated at the event, "The signing of this agreement is an opportunity for Vietnam and Korea to deepen their relationship in the fields of tourism, culture, and commerce. I am confident that the two nations will collaborate closely, share their expertise, and contribute to the development of both Vietnam and Korea."
In the context of Vietnam's integration into the global economy, "Vietnam - Korea trade promotion" is an excellent opportunity for Vietnamese and Korean businesses to promote trade promotion activities to stimulate business demand. economic, commercial connection.
