Nghe An: In the first 6 months of 2022, 1,080 new enterprises were established, up 7.2% over the same period

DNHN - That's the information raised by the People's Committee of Nghe An province at the press conference on the province's socio-economic, national defence and security situation in the first 6 months of 2022.
Accordingly, in the first 6 months of 2022, Nghe An has 1,080 newly established enterprises, up 7.2% over the same period, with a total registered capital of 11,204 billion dongs. At the same time, there were 564 enterprises registered to operate again, up 14.2% and 79 enterprises dissolved, down 7.1% over the same period in 2021.

The People's Committee of Nghe An province has chosen 2022 as the year "Focusing on digital transformation in state agencies" and has issued the Administrative Reform Plan for quarterly review and direct to overcome shortcomings, and limitations, to maximize benefits for people and businesses. The Provincial Governance and Public Administration Performance Index (PAPI) in 2021 of Nghe An belongs to the group of 15 provinces, achieving the highest index in the country. The administrative reform index (Par Index) 2021 of Nghe An reached 87.59 points, ranked 17th out of 63 provinces and cities, up 1 place compared to 2020.

In the first 6 months of 2022, Nghe An's gross product growth rate (GRDP) is estimated to increase by 8.44%, higher than the same period in 2021, ranking second in the North Central region and 18th out of 63 provinces/cities directly under the Central Government. Nghe An's state budget revenue is estimated at 10,100 billion VND, reaching 67.4% of the estimate, equaling 100.6% over the same period in 2021. Nghe An's local budget expenditure is estimated at 15,303 billion VND, achieving 49.3% of the assigned estimate.

Nghe An's investment attraction in the first 6 months of 2022 has achieved quite positive results: 58 new projects have been granted and 63 projects have been adjusted; total new and increased capital of 28,101.2 billion VND. Compared to the same period in 2021, the number of newly granted projects increased by 13.72%, and the total newly granted capital increased by 1.39 times. In particular, for the first time, Nghe An is in the group of 10 localities attracting the largest FDI in the country in the first 6 months of 2022 with 580 million USD, the highest level ever. These can be mentioned as projects attracting large FDI such as: Investing in building social housing for workers, and workers working in Nam Cam Industrial Park at position 3 of Central Solar Power Joint Stock Company. MK with a total investment of 3,495.16 billion dongs; invest in building social housing for workers and workers working in Nam Cam Industrial Park at position 04 of BMC International Trading Joint Stock Company with a total investment of 3,385.38 billion VND; forest product processing, domestic consumption and export factory in Zone D - Nam Cam Industrial Park of An Viet Phat Nghe An Energy Company Limited with a total investment of 1,277.32 billion VND...
