DNHN - Tran Huyen Anh, born in 2001 and a student at the College of Electromechanics, was crowned the flower at the final competition of Miss Northwest Tourism - Sa Pa 2023 with the theme "Beauty of the highlands" Northwest Tourism - South Carolina 2023.
Within the framework of "Miss Vietnam Tourism 2024", "Miss Northwest Tourism - Sapa 2023" is a large and professional contest held annually. The objective of the competition is to find worthy candidates for the position of Northwest Tourism Ambassador who are endowed with talent, compassion, and patriotism. The top three contestants will automatically advance to the final round of "Miss Tourism Vietnam 2024" to continue promoting and introducing the country's image, cultural beauty, national identity, and Northwest people to the world. national and global community. In anticipation of the 120th anniversary of Sa Pa's founding, "Miss Northwest Tourism - Sapa 2023" will be the central event in the chain of promoting the land rich in national identity and spreading the famed attraction.

After more than four months of qualifying, 28 beautiful and talented girls, including ten girls from ethnic minorities, entered the finale. All of the contestants possessed a beautiful, elegant appearance. The rugged and robust physique is typical of the mountains and forests of the Pacific Northwest. The contestants then competed in the Ao Dai, swimsuit, and evening gown competitions to determine the top 15, followed by the behavior competition to determine the winner.

Student Tran Huyen Anh (SBD 247), born in 2001 in the city of Lao Cai, has defeated 27 other contestants to win the title of Miss Northwest Tourism - Sapa 2023. The 1st runner-up is the lovely Nguyen Bach Van (SBD). 825), the second-place finisher is the lovely Nguyen Khanh Linh (SBD 412). The top three winners of the "Miss Northwest Tourism - Sapa 2023" competition will advance directly to the final round of "Miss Vietnam Tourism 2024" to continue promoting and introducing the country's image alongside the other contestants.


In addition to the top three winners, the Organising Committee also presented the following prizes: Ao Dai Beauty – Tran Huyen Anh, SBD 247; Evening Beauty – Nguyen Thi Van Anh, SBD 302; Body Beauty – Do Thanh Thao SBD 965; Inspiring Beauty – Tran Thi Thanh Thanh, SBD 223; Benevolent Beauty – Ly Ngoc Tuyet, SBD 396; Talented Beauty – Nguyen Thao Ngoc, SBD 310; The most favorite beauty – Vo Khanh Huyen, SBD 271.
The Miss Northwest Tourism Contest - Sa Pa 2023 is an annual beauty contest held on a large scale and professionally in response to Resolution 103/NQ-CP dated October 6, 2017, of the Government. on the Action Programme to implement Resolution 08-NQ/TW of the 12th Politburo on developing tourism into a spearhead economic sector; creating favorable conditions for people to directly participate in business and benefit from tourism; building a civilized and friendly tourism community.
The contest aids the local government in propagating and disseminating the beauty of the culture and people of the Northwest highlands, as well as promoting the potential of nature tourism in Sapa, which is endowed with numerous distinctive and alluring landscapes. This is also a practical cultural activity to commemorate the 120th anniversary of the establishment of tourism in Sa Pa; the objective is to find exemplary faces of women from the highlands to represent them at national and international tourism events.
