DNHN - At the 20th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO 2023) there will be approximately 120 Vietnamese companies with 200 booths covering a total area of approximately 4,000 square meters.
CAEXPO 2023 takes place in Nanning City, Guangxi province, China, from September 16-19, 2023, with high-ranking Vietnamese delegations led by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien, and leaders of ministries, departments, branches, and representatives from localities across the country. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh thanked the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Vietnamese businesses for their proactive and active participation in the CAEXPO Fair. 2023, he wrote to the guestbook, following the opening ceremony of the Vietnam pavilion.
According to Minister Nguyen Hong Dien, the China-ASEAN Expo and the China-ASEAN Trade and Investment Summit have become one of the most significant and prestigious cooperation mechanisms over the years of their organization. Economic, trade, and investment cooperation between ASEAN and China has directly and significantly contributed to ASEAN becoming China's largest trading partner, and China its leading trading partner. Vietnam is proud to have been one of the most active members contributing to the success of CAEXPO and CABIS over the past two decades. Vietnam has traditionally been the country at CAEXPO with the largest enterprise scale, enterprise area, and enterprise number. There are numerous booths selling merchandise.
The goal is to restore the distribution system and expand export markets for new products, and the Vietnamese trade pavilion at this fair, so businesses participating in the Fair are mainly from the fields of agricultural products. products, processed foods, footwear, home appliances and clothing, wooden furniture, handicrafts, and wood-based products. Concerning the Vietnam national pavilion with the theme "Beautiful City" at this year's Fair, the Ministry of Industry and Trade coordinated with the People's Committee of Son La province to highlight the locality's cultural distinctiveness and economic potential.
The Department of Trade Promotion coordinated with the CAEXPO Fair Secretariat and related units to organize a "Trade Conference between Vietnamese and Chinese Businesses" at the Exhibition Centre and Nanning International Conference on September 16, 2023. In 2023, Vietnam will continue to serve as the gateway to the ASEAN-China Free Trade Area, acting as a bridge between the ASEAN Economic Community and China, and will continue to participate in the annual CAEXPO Fair on a grand scale. Vietnam's exports of goods and services to China and ASEAN countries will increase as the country takes advantage of the ASEAN-China Free Trade Area to the greatest extent possible.
