DNHN - In March 2024, the Meiko Group plans to begin construction of a nearly VND 5,000 billion electronic circuit factory on the left bank of Song Da Industrial Park (Hoa Binh City).
Mr. Atsushi Sakate, Permanent Vice President of Meiko Group, Japan, led the Meiko Group working group and met with the Standing Committee of the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee on October 23 to discuss the investment project for the manufacturing factory. On the left bank of Song Da Industrial Park are electronic circuits of all types.
Specifically, Japan Meiko Group is implementing a plan to lease land and infrastructure from Da Hop Trading Joint Stock Company with a total area of 9.2 hectares; Investment capital of nearly 5,000 billion VND (equivalent to 200 million USD) to build an electronic circuit manufacturing factory in the industrial park on the left bank of Song Da.
At the meeting, the Meiko Japan Group representative proposed and recommended that Hoa Binh province support investment procedures, adjust planning, and adjust the investment scale of the project; Support stable power supply to ensure the production process; demand for use of clean water and waste disposal... to begin construction of the factory in March 2024.
Secretary of Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Phi Long vowed to accompany Meiko Group, providing maximum support for administrative procedures; Investment in transport infrastructure, electricity, and wastewater systems... creates favourable conditions for the Group and domestic and international companies to invest in the region. At the same time, direct functional departments and branches to concentrate on providing the best assistance for investors to complete related procedures and commence the project on schedule. In particular, the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board serves as the focal point and coordinates with departments and divisions to resolve planning issues, ensure a stable power supply, clean water source, and waste discharge, and swiftly resolve issues. Obstacles and difficulties in the implementation process, aiming to complete pertinent procedures by March 2024 to launch the project.
It is well known that Meiko Group has become one of the world's leading manufacturers of electronic printed circuit boards and assemblers of electronic components, with 5 factories in Japan, 2 factories in China, and additional factories. International representative offices and subsidiaries. Design, production, and manufacturing of electronic printed circuit boards (PCB); assembly of components onto PCBs and assembly of complete electronic products (EMS) are the primary areas of operation.
In Vietnam, Meiko Group has invested a total of $500 million in the construction of three factories that manufacture and assemble electronic printed circuit boards (PCBs), creating employment for more than 7,000 individuals. annually contribute approximately $30 million to the State budget.
