National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue attended the opening ceremony of Ha Nam Culture-Tourism Week 2023 on the evening of May 14 at Tam Chuc Scenic Landscape Complex (Kim Bang, Ha Nam), an event commemorating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan (1973-2023).

At the ceremony, Japanese artists performed Kyogen comedy, the first comedy genre to be born in Japan, which has a 650-year history and is recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage; Vietnamese and Japanese artists perform the traditional art repertoire of their respective countries.

Truong Quoc Huy, Chairman of the People's Committee and Head of the Delegation of the National Assembly of the province of Ha Nam stated at the ceremony that Ha Nam is a land rich in history and culture with tangible and intangible cultural heritage treasures. "Through today's traditional Kyogen comedy performance, I hope you can rediscover the depth of the cultural ties between Japan and Vietnam," stated Ambassador Yamada Takio.

On this occasion, the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism granted the National Historic Site of Ha Nam with four relics. This is a historical relic of the Lat Son base in Thanh Son commune, Kim Bang district; Bat Canh Son scenic spot in Tuong Linh commune, Kim Bang district; Tam Chuc scenic complex in Ba Sao town, Kim Bang district; and Nam Cao Tomb and Memorial Historic Site in Hoa Hau commune, Ly Nhan district.
