In 2025, the area of fruit trees in the province will be 46,413 hectares, with an output of over 463 thousand tonnes, of which citrus will cover 10,064 hectares and produce 192,4 thousand tonnes; Longan will cover 5,515 hectares and produce 51,9 thousand tonnes; and mango trees will cover 16,764 hectares and produce 178.1 thousand tonnes. The organic fruit tree production area is 548 ha. The plan establishes goals to increase the proportion of the value of products produced through cooperation and association to 30-35%. The ratio of production land with good agricultural practices at 30 percent (VietnamGAP and equivalent), and land with advanced irrigation saving 20 to 30 percent.

By the approved plan, each district and city determines the appropriate size of fruit production areas to combine production and harvest, preliminary processing, preservation, and transportation. The development of fruit trees must adhere to the planning and orientation of each level of government and take place in areas with suitable land potential and ecological environment; fruit trees should not be developed arbitrarily, without direction, or by current market trends, as this leads to the phenomenon of supply exceeding demand, resulting in surpluses and low selling prices.
