Binh Duong province and the strategy for achieving a higher degree of development

DNHN - On April 5, 2022, at the Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center, the Provincial People's Committee, in collaboration with Becamex IDC Corporation, heard the consulting unit of the National Institute of Urban and Rural Planning (VIUP) of the Ministry of Construction presents the provincial planning strategic framework for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050.
Attending to this event were Mr. Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of the National Assembly; Mr. Mai Hung Dung, Member of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Becamex IDC Corporation; Mr. Pham Ngoc Thuan, General Director of Becamex IDC; leaders of provincial departments and agencies.

Consistent with the province's development philosophy of establishing a harmonious, humane, and sustainable society; establishing an effective business and investment environment; and establishing a dynamic and tectonic local government, the consulting unit proposes comprehensive integrated strategies, incorporating the development dynamics structure into the province's planning.
Particular emphasis will be placed on six pillars: legacy development; innovation development; integrated development; green development; open development; and overall development. The consulting section makes recommendations for various provincial planning products, which include the following five components: Identifying the cluster relationships between the major economic chains; Allocating space in accordance with the potential defined by the New Development Model; Identifying internal resources; Creating a new historical, cultural, and human space. Develop a strategy for digitizing space in the context of integrated territory management, taking into account digital government, digital society, and digital economics. Additionally, the consulting team detailed 37 critical provincial planning responsibilities.

Mr. Nguyen Van Loi, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, stressed the significance and importance of provincial planning for the period 2021-2030, with a view to 2050. for Binh Duong and possess the broadest vision; possess strategic projects and investment stages. Binh Duong has made significant strides, but it must now reach a new level of development: one that is green, intelligent, and sustainable.
The Secretary expressed gratitude to the Institute's scientists for their significant contributions to the province's socioeconomic development strategies. The province is looking forward to a long-term relationship with the Institute and will continue to solicit proposals from it.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Becamex IDC Corporation said:”Binh Duong has laid a solid platform for the next phase of development. Today, Binh Duong must develop a smart city and a new ecosystem that is ever-evolving and creative. As a result, consulting units must conduct reality-based planning and synchronous planning. The planning must be truly effective, laying the groundwork for spectacular growth breakthroughs in Binh Duong and matching the region's requirements; is a bright spot contributing to the development of Vietnam's main economic region. Wishing employees the chance to expand their businesses in Binh Duong”.
