Binh Duong prepares for Horasis China Economic Forum 2024

DNHN - Binh Duong Department of Foreign Affairs said that the forum is expected to have about 700 delegates and guests, including 300 of the most senior guests from the Horasis community and 400 guests from the Central Government, localities and Binh Duong.
On March 5, Mr Mai Hung Dung, Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Binh Duong Provincial People’s Committee, chaired a working session with the Department of Foreign Affairs and related departments, agencies and sectors to prepare for the Horasis China Economic Forum 2024 (Horasis China Meeting 2024) to be held in Binh Duong from April 14 to 16, 2024.
In the report at the working session, Ms Ha Thanh, Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs, said that the forum is expected to have about 700 delegates and guests, including 300 of the most senior guests from the Horasis community and 400 guests from the Central Government, localities and Binh Duong province. This forum is expected to have 6 plenary sessions and 21 dialogue and discussion sessions.

The dialogue sessions will focus on the Asian region and will discuss many topics such as supply chain integration, entrepreneurs and soft skills, international trade flows in Asia, clean energy, Industry 4.0, smart cities, and many other topics.
In his speech at the working session, Mr Mai Hung Dung emphasised that the Horasis China Economic Forum 2024 is an important opportunity for Binh Duong to access new knowledge, new global trends, and advanced technologies for socio-economic development. He also emphasised that this forum provides an opportunity for Binh Duong managers and businesses to interact and connect with a network of senior leaders, from chairmen and general directors of leading Asian and global companies, while also creating opportunities for finding new partners and developing management, science and technology capacity, and promoting trade and investment.
Mr Mai Hung Dung also emphasised the need for coordination between departments, agencies and sectors to organise this forum successfully, ensuring security and order, health, and food safety, and selecting the right guest delegates and experts so that the forum achieves high results.
