DNHN - Statistics indicate that over 600 exchanges and transactions have occurred between Chinese and Vietnamese companies, in addition to those between Lao Cai province companies and domestic partners.
After six eventful days, the 23rd Vietnam-China International Trade Fair (Lao Cai) was formally concluded at the Kim Thanh Exhibition Centre in Lao Cai City on November 15 in the afternoon.
As per the information provided by the Organising Committee, the event serves as more than a platform for businesses from both nations to trade and exhibit products; it also provides an excellent opportunity to establish connections with potential partners. A multitude of trade connection and consumption promotion initiatives have been implemented, thereby assisting businesses in their efforts to increase exports and product consumption.
The participating businesses at the fair have demonstrated meticulous planning in every aspect, including product display, promotion, and sales. Consumers have been drawn to local products, particularly those manufactured by OCOP, due to their superior quality rated between 3 and 5 stars.
Statistics indicate that over 600 exchanges and transactions have occurred between Chinese and Vietnamese companies, in addition to those between Lao Cai province companies and domestic partners. A total of 22 contract pairs and 109 cooperation agreements have been executed, with a particular emphasis on agency and export transshipment services.
A significant number of consumers and customers from Lao Cai and neighboring provinces attended the fair. The fact that business sales revenue exceeded sixty billion VND demonstrates the event's considerable appeal.
The Organising Committee has prioritized environmental hygiene and safety and security measures, in addition to methods for preventing epidemics, throughout the duration of the fair.
The trade fair has facilitated effective trade connections, market expansion, and brand promotion for businesses. Additionally, it has supported import and export activities and contributed to the strengthening of business cooperation between units on both sides.
