At the provincial level, Ba Don town has 04 more OCOP goods

DNHN - The People's Committee of Quang Binh province has published Decision No. 335/QD-UBND dated January 28, 2022, on the recognition of the results of the evaluation and categorization of 39 provincial OCOP goods under Quang Binh province's One commune, one product program in 2021. In all, 04 goods from Ba Don town have been designated as OCOP at the provincial level.

As a consequence, the Provincial People's Committee approved the evaluation and categorization of 39 provincial OCOP goods, including four 4-star OCOP products and 35 3-star OCOP products.

Ba Don town has three-star products at the provincial level, including Quang Hoa clean rice of Quang Hoa clean agricultural product processing and production cooperative, produced by improved rice farming process (SRI) and select high-quality rice such as DV108, Dai Thom...; Minh Duong spring rolls products of Tran Thi Minh spring rolls and spring rolls are made from standard, clean, fresh ingredients of clear origin, especially without using borax, harmful additives that cause harmful effects to the health of consumers; set of handicraft products from coconut wood; Quang Thuy wooden chopsticks products of Quang Thuy wooden chopsticks production and trading cooperative have diverse designs, produce clean chopsticks, ensure food hygiene and safety, say no to toxic chemicals and dyes has achieved 4 stars at the provincial level.

According to rules, these items will be approved by the Provincial People's Committee, utilize the OCOP trademark, and have the logo printed on the product packaging.

Ba Don town is continuing to review products with local characteristics to ensure the scale and output to have products to supply to the market; support cooperatives to improve their operational capacity to effectively implement the chain of supply and consumption services, and adopt policies to encourage farmers to invest in expanding production and restructuring agriculture to continue implementing the program effectively.
