DNHN - The programme "Meet Japan 2023" (Meet Japan 2023) is an opportunity for the province of Binh Duong and Japanese partners to evaluate the past results of their cooperation and the future direction of their partnership.
To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan (September 21, 1973 - September 21, 2023), the People's Committee of Binh Duong Province organised the "Meet Japan 2023" Programme (Meet Japan 2023) in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Government of Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan.

According to the leader of Binh Duong province, this is an opportunity for Binh Duong province and localities, as well as Japanese partners, to evaluate the results of past cooperation and the direction of future cooperation, while also promoting economic diplomacy and attracting FDI capital. In addition, promoting the widespread promotion of Binh Duong Province's image and contributing to the strengthening of Binh Duong Province's relationships with localities and Japanese partners will contribute to the promotion of Binh Duong Province's relationship with Japan. Vietnam and Japan have an expansive strategic partnership.

It is anticipated that approximately 400 delegates will attend the "Meeting Japan 2023" Programme in Binh Duong province, including leaders of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam; Japan's senior leaders; Governor and Delegation of Yamaguchi Province; leaders of Binh Duong province; Japanese side agencies; Japanese Business Association in Ho Chi Minh City, Japanese Business Association in Binh Duong province; several foreign associations and businesses; and leaders of several foreign governments.
The programme includes major events such as the "Meet Japan 2023" programme, the "Binh Duong Women with Japanese Culture" programme, and meetings and exchanges with senior Japanese leaders, the Governor, and the Yamaguchi Prefecture delegation.

Notably, the programme also includes a Conference on Connecting Supply and Demand for Goods and the Southeast Region Industry and Trade Fair at the WTC Expo Exhibition Centre. The conference was held on a regional scale, attracting the participation of over 200 businesses from over 30 provinces and cities across the nation. From September 5 to September 10, there are approximately 350-400 standard booths, as well as a series of side events, cultural exchange activities, and connecting trade.
There are also several side events, including a reception commemorating the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan and a Japanese delegation; Vietnamese ao dai performance, concluding round of "Binh Duong women with Japanese culture" programme; Visiting some projects and works and collaborating with Japanese companies in the province of Binh Duong; From September 8-10, 2023, there will be a festival at AEON MALL Thuan An Binh Duong with the theme "Enhancing cooperation, looking to the future" The Vietnam - Japan youth exchange programme is anticipated to take place at Thu Dau Mot University from September 4-14, 2023; a welcome fireworks display will be held on September 8, 2023 at 8:45 p.m.
